oes I Dreamed a Dream take you to a magical place just before you are fully awake thinking of Mr. Sandman, Dreaming A Little Dream, or even Dreaming The Impossible Dream? Or are you reminded of On A Clear Day while you are watching Blue Skies and clouds drifting with Georgia On My Mind, believing that Everything's Coming Up Roses?

From the lush romantic tones of Mancini's Dreamsville to the driving sounds of the Mamas and the Papas California Dreamin', our spring 2012 concert will take you to that place where you find music happiness. The women will sing you a Summertime lullaby, and the men will inspire you with You Raise Me Up. Reflect on What a Wonderful World and Smile to the lovely Unforgettable memories of Singing in The Rain. We'll be Over the Rainbow and we'll Count Our Blessings that you've joined us. The North East Texas Choral Society singers invite you to our spring 2012 concert.

Come dream with us!

Who would have thought...

... that such a diverse group of individuals could make the sound they do in North East Texas.  The North East Texas Choral Society has been making great sounds since its beginning.  The first call for auditions in 1998 brought about 100 people together from all walks of life that have one thing in common; we love to sing.

After forming in June of 1998, NETCS was asked to perform in July 1998 for Texas Governor George W. Bush at a meeting held in Sulphur Springs.  Since that inaugural concert, NETCS has held at least two concerts every year.

The objectives of this organization are:

1. to educate and to promote community interest in choral music;
2. to provide for members to participate in various phases of choral work;
3. to promote the interest and/or advance the enjoyment and appreciation of choral music.

And, as Carol, our director, says, "The Best Is Yet To Come."
